KOITO evaluates its own initiatives by identifying key domestic and overseas external prime indicators and evaluations, and analyzing the results.
We are enhancing ESG activies and actively disclosing information by responding to external evaluations, including ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) rating agencies.

FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index

KOITO has been selected as a constituent of FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index by FTSE, a leading ESG rating agency in U.K.

This index is intended for Japanese companies which are superior to address environment, social and governance (ESG) issues and facilitate the transition to decarbonized society.

It is one of the indices adopted by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) as a passive management standard for ESG investment.

CDP

In January 2022,the CDP Climate Change Report 2021, a survey of global companies on their strategies for climate change and specific greenhouse gas emissions, was published by the U.K. nonprofit organization CDP (formerly known as the Carbon Disclosure Project).
KOITO received a "B-(Management)" rating in recognition of its efforts to address climate change, such as reducing CO₂ emissions and setting medium-to long-term targets, as well as its disclosures.
