Since its foundation in 1915, the KOITO Group has contributed to the safety and security of society by developing and commercializing attractive products with original ideas based on its management philosophy of contribute to social development through lighting as the basic theme and its corporate motto of"Innovative ideas and decisive action".
We recognize that our activities are highly compatible and relevant to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Business activities based on "strengthening corporate foundations," "sustainable growth," and "coexistence with the Earth and society
In January 2021, we revised the Koito Group Corporate Behavior Charter and identified 14 materiality (priority issues) in relation to the sustainable growth of the KOITO Group and the resolution of social issues in order to further advance and revitalize our business activities from the SDGs and ESG (environment, society, and governance) perspective.
In 2022, we will formulate "KOITO VISION ~Lighting the Way for Our Sustainable Future~" and develop business activities based on the three pillars of "strengthening the corporate foundation," "sustainable growth," and "harmony with the Earth and society.
Through these activities, we aim to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society and earn the trust of all stakeholders.
